Sussex County State Fair

We've gone to the Sussex county fair twice and the kids are always thrilled to watch the tractors, monster trucks and trailers. They have a great deal of activities for the kids and lots of artery-clogging food for Mommy and Daddy. It was a warm day but just perfect for walking around for several hours.

Waiting in line to get tickets. They are already excited as they watch all the trailers and tractors drive by. Dylan already eyed the monster trucks and insists on riding the tractors.

Feeding the goats is always a lot of fun. Dylan is especially tickled by it.

Logan, on the other hand, is enjoying it from afar. Although he tried to feed the goats with Daddy, he would much rather watch DD do it.

Dylan was mesmerized by the tractor pull... yes a tractor pulling a tractor and whichever one pulls the furthest, wins! Exciting, right?! Well, Dylan thought so. We watched several tractors while we had lunch.

One of the many trucks/tractors/trailers the boys played with. They could have played with all of them for hours. It's definitely the coolest thing they had at the fair... according to Dylan, anyway.

The main highlight of the day. The boys were in tractor heaven!!! Not only did we spend most of our time here, but we went back twice! They had several different types and we're pretty sure Dylan tried all of them. And although Logan couldn't reach the pedal, he was right there with his brother.

watching a show... how precious are they?!?

Meeting Macaw - the same bird species as Blu from Rio.

Before we leaving, Dylan asked if he could ride one thing. He picked this one and he loved it. Can you tell? Mommy and Daddy were a tad nervous that the ride was a little bit too fast for him, but apparently, that's what made it "so much fun".
