Pictures with Santa

So today we went to see Santa at the Short Hills Mall for pictures. Well, the day didn't start out right when we realized that we had left our camera at home. We were rushing out of the house that we completely forgot to take it with us. Then, it wasn't any better when we saw that the mall opens at 10AM (NOT 8AM!!!) and we were there at 9AM. Yikes!

We decide to have breakfast and by 9:30AM we were in line for pictures with Santa. And yes, we're the first ones on line!!! It was a good thing that we had our cell phones with us or else there would be no pictures (besides the super $$$$ picture with Santa).

Here's Dylan excited to be the first one in line...

Since we were the first ones there, Dylan was able to play with the Polar Express train display.
Santa even came up to Dylan while we were in line to say hello.

We were extremely happy with Dylan's picture with Santa, but we won't be posting them just yet....

Post-Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. As always, we are so thankful for all our blessings, our amazing family, wonderful friends and as Dylan says.. 'mmmhhh gud' food.

We did take family pictures during thanksgiving. We were so happy with the way they came out that they've become candidates for christmas card photo. SOoooo we won't be posting them... yet.

We'll be posting pictures up soon of our weekend filled with shoppping, meeting Santa, decorating the house and baking christmas cookies.

Random pictures

We have been so busy with various things that we've neglected posting pictures. Here are some random ones that we've taken the last couple of months.

Playdate with Ninag Kim

Sitting at the table with Mommy and Daddy AND eating with a spoon....

being a boy .....
A possible Xmas picture - our only family picture where Dylan is actually looking at the camera without looking forced. (Sorry, for some reason I can't rotate this picture)

Videos

Now that Dylan is all over the place and is doing new things ALL the time, we try to capture every moment. But since he is ALL over the place, it is just so hard to videotape this kid, or even take pictures of him.

We've downloaded some videos to share ....but as you can see....almost all of it end up with Dylan wanting to take the video away from us.

We'll be making more of an effort with the videocam but for now here are some for you to watch. Enjoy!

Great finds at Wholefoods

Now that there is a Wholefoods near Lolo's house, it would be much easier to buy Dylan's dairy-free and peanut-free goodies.

Yesterday, before I picked him up from Lolo's house, I stopped by Wholefoods to buy his favorite soy cheese and soy yogurt. But I also found dairy-free cookies, cupcakes and waffles mixes. I'm so excited to make them! Plus, I know that Mike can't wait to feed Dylan some peanut-free peanut butter. Not sure how it's going to taste, but we bet Dylan would just gobble it all up!

Our toddler is walking!

This post is about 3 weeks late, but better now than never!

Dylan officially started walking on Oct 22. He had been walking more and more a couple of days before, but he would always fall after a few steps or he'd only walk to areas where he knows he could hold onto something.

But that Wednesday (10/22), we had a playdate at the house and all of a sudden, he started walking everywhere... from the playroom to the family room to the kitchen to living room.
I was so excited that I, of course, had to videotape it and send it to Mike who was at work. That afternoon, I took Dylan to Mike's work where he showed off his new skills.

I posted the video so you can see for yourself!

Trick or Treat

It was the perfect weather for Trick-or-Treating. We took Dylan around the neighborhood and everyone loved his costume! Thank goodness for his new wagon or else we wouldn't have been able to get very far.

Oh, and Daddy and Mommy wore San Jose Shark's jerseys. We even decorated D's wagon with the Shark's plate.
