Mommy's XXth Birthday

Today was Mommy's XX'th Birthday and we all took the day off to celebrate.

This morning Mommy and Daddy went to DesPasquale Spa in Morris Plains for massages while I stayed at Lolo's house. Mommy had a Pre-Natal Massage and Daddy got a Deep tissue massage because he is getting really old and falling apart.

yucky east coast weather

It was just too hot to do anything today BUT be in the pool. Since Frog Falls is still closed (yes, we gave in and paid the overpriced membership), we got Dylan a kiddie pool which he absolutely loved.

Van Saun Park

On the first warm day of the year, we visited Van Saun Park in Paramus, NJ. It's our second time there, but the first time Dylan was too young to really enjoy all that the park has to offer. We got to hang out with Ninong Brandon and Josh.

resting in his wagon - it was just too hot
showing off his new favorite shoes - croc shoes
(he refuses to wear anything else and if he doesn't have them on,
he walks around the house saying "croc shoes, where are you?")

Sleepover at Grandma's

Last night Dylan officially had his first sleepover! We brought Dylan to Grandma's house at about 6:30PM and picked him up the next day at 11AM.

Mommy and Daddy had a great dinner at an Indian restaurant then spent an hour at borders reading books on baby names and reviews on cribs, mattresses, and double strollers - three big items we need to purchase for Baby S. After that, we watched State of Play and got home at about 1AM. That's the latest we've stayed out since Dylan was born!!

Our time alone was fantastic but we terribly missed Dylan especially his morning kisses and hugs.

It did help that we received a few picture texts from grandma throughout the evening. (the
picture aren't great since they are from Grandma's phone.)

patting the bear and saying "it's OK bear"

When we picked up Dylan the next day, he greeted us with lots of hugs and kisses. We could tell he had a great time with Grandma. We think there will be more sleepovers in Dylan's future.

Soon-to-be Big Brother

We're so excited to be expecting our second baby in November. We know that Dylan is going to be a great 'kuya'. Every morning, he lifts up Mommy's shirt, says 'hi baby', tickles the baby then says 'i love you, baby'. When we ask if he wants a baby brother or baby sister, he says ' baby broder'. =) We are worried that this baby may starve since Dylan wants to eat everything Mommy does. Dylan definitely has to start learning to share with this baby.

So far Mommy is feeling great. She's only gotten sick three times in the past eleven weeks although she's tired all the time.

Also, there's a special video (Daddy's birthday surprise) on the right that's a must see. =)

Happy Easter!

After AC, we went to Lolo and Lola's house for lunch and an egg hunt.

Mini-Getaway with Grandma to AC

It's Dylan's first time in Atlantic City. We wanted to bring him to the pool and for Mommy and Daddy to have some relaxing time in the casinos.

Pre-Easter Fun

Dylan enjoyed 2 days of egg hunting with friends. His favorite was opening the eggs to find fruit snacks.
