Mommy' Birthday - Great Wolf Lodge

When sad about getting older, celebrate like a five year old at Great Wolf Lodge.

A family weekend in an indoor waterpark is just what we needed.  The kids had fun and even Mommy and Daddy enjoyed the slides with the kids.  We got on every single one except for just a couple of them - only because the kids were too small to get on.

Our favorite was definitely the River Canon Run (or as the kids called it – the family slide) where we all packed into a raft and went down the slide.  So many screams and laughs on this slide.  The wave pool was another hit with the kids.  They’d grab an inner tube and enjoy the crazy waves.

Besides the waterpark, the kids were thrilled to have a bunkbed in our room.  They had their own little adventure in their room and are now constantly asking for bunk beds in their rooms at home.

We’ll definitely be going back next year – maybe we’ll even bring the cousins too!

Happy xxth Birthday Mommy!

Red Sox

For Daddy's 40th Birthday, he wanted to drive to Boston to see the Red Sox play on their 100th anniversary.  While the kids stayed with Grandma and Uncle Tommy for the weekend, Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a couple of days doing everything Boston.

Having Qdoba before the game - where he became the proud owner of a 100th Anniversary booklet
Outside Fenway park with lots of restaurants
 Pre-game

A quick visit to Cheers - sadly, Norm wasn't there

Easter fun!

Doing crafts has been one of our favorite things to do with the boys.  They fully enjoy it and seeing them get creative is just rewarding (minus all the mess, of course!).  They painted and decorated 10 eggs (2 cracked while mommy was boiled them.. ooopps!), and placed them by the door for the Easter Bunny to hide.  The next day, they woke up and excitedly looked for all the eggs. (Note to all:  Don't let Daddy hide the eggs because we'll never find them!)  They also loved their Easter baskets filled with Easter chocolates and their very own personalized superhero gears (capes, eye mask and arm shields).
