Mommy's "21st" Birthday

Happy Birthday Mommy!!!!

Today was quite a busy day for mommy. In the end it was all worth it after we all had a nice family dinner at La Cucina in Denville, NJ.

Mommy also got the gift that she wanted after hinting it to Daddy a month in advanced.

Train ride with the Easter Bunny

Since the boys enjoyed the Santa Train last year, we decided to check out the Easter Bunny train ride. As we had expected, Dylan was totally psyched and Logan was mesmerized. Not only did they each get a little chick stuff animal, but they got a share an Easter cookie. The best part was meeting the Easter Bunny, of course.

At the end of the train ride, Dylan and Logan got to explore the train stationed on the side of the tracks. It was such a hit that we may just do this every year until the boys beg us to stop taking them.

Easter Egg Hunt

Pre-Easter celebration started with egg hunting with our friends at a local nearby park. Even though it was a little bit chilly and windy, the boys enjoyed the playground and some outside playtime with their friends. We had all sorts of snacks, pastries, desserts and drinks. After the kids loaded up on sugar, they ran around the playground hunting for eggs.

For Logan's first actual egg hunting, he was pretty excited and thrilled. He quickly picked up the eggs and ran to Daddy to put in his basket. We're pretty sure he thought it was clean-up time.

Dylan was a pro at picking out the eggs he wanted to keep... he quickly ran for the purple ones (his current favorite color).

Soccer

Dylan started soccer again this week and he was not too thrilled about it. He remembered the last time he did soccer - he pretty much just wanted to go to the playground. We couldn't blame him since the coaches were not very good at encouraging the kids to participate. When it comes to our super shy 3yo, he needs extra attention, promises, bribes, etc.

We assured him that he'll love it and he'll get to see some of his friends (Aiden and Oliver). We signed him up with a different group (PreKKickers) who came highly recommended. We were promised that every child will participate and if not, we get our money back. To our surprise, on the first day, he ran to the field on his own and within 5 minutes his coach knew his name. Every week he looks forward to soccer where he learns different ways to dribble and kick the ball, participates in drills, and enjoys a friendly game of soccer.

Logan's big day

The day we've been dreading is finally upon us. After procrastinating for over 5 months, our little rock star traded his long locks for an adorable little boy's haircut.

He sat on the chair like a little boy without any complaints or cries. In just a little over fifteen minutes (and lots of pictures), it was all over. We've got ourselves a baby boy with a big boy cut.

Growth spurts = new car seats

For over four months, we've had Dylan's booster seat sitting in the garage. For the last month, Logan would cry uncontrollably in his carseat when his foot would get stuck on the side as he stretches his legs. Just a couple of signs that the boys are growing up way too fast.

This weekend, we got the courage to let our babies move onto the next stage... no more infant car seat.

Movie Night

Another movie night at the San B household... this time with a tent set up by the boys.

In the last few days, we've discovered something so sweet and tender - Dylan and Logan have become the best playmates. Their laughs bring so much warmth in our home. As Mommy and Daddy sit together to have dinner and listen to the boys play so nicely together, we realize how much they've grown to be best buds. This is life.
