Santa's coming to town...

Every year we visit Santa at Short Hills (where he lives, of course). Logan slept through the whole thing while Dylan excitedly asked Santa for lots of cars and trucks.

the most wonderful time of the year

For the past few weeks we've been enjoying the holiday season from making ginger bread house, baking cookies, visiting Santa, christmas shopping and wrapping gifts. Some things were put on hold since the boys seem to have a cold (first Dylan then Logan).

Happy 1 month old, Logan

Hard to believe that Logan is already a month old - most of this time spent sleeping. One thing about this baby - he loves to sleep... and loves his milk even more!

Our day was spent at the doctor's office for a 1month checkup (and a sick visit for Dylan) followed by dinner at Grandma's and then Ate Cece's school christmas show.

Logan - Three Weeks Old

Dylan is loving having his baby brother around...constantly asking where Logan is, helping change his diapers, etc. However, he's still a little rough with Logan. We are continuing to work with him (i.e. time outs) and hoping that this stage will end sooner than later.

Logan is becoming more attentive. He's still asleep most of the day, but when he is awake, he likes to listen and follow our voices. He's starting to give us little smiles now and then which is just adorable. At night, we've finally found a solution to him not sleeping on us or on our bed - his swing! We even bought another swing for the bedroom so he sleeps there at night and he has his swing in the family room for daytime naps. Yes, we've come to accept that our kids are high maintenance!

Trimming the tree

One of our family traditions - getting the house ready for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. This is year Dylan enjoyed putting up decorations and trimming the tree. He was even more excited to help Daddy put up the reindeers and lights outside the house.

Christmas Tree Farm

It's that time of the year - cutting our own christmas tree. It was cold and windy, but not
bone-chilling cold. We bundled up the kids and headed out to Andover to pick the perfect tree.

Happy Thanksgiving

We've got so much to be thankful for this year. We feel so blessed with the addition of our beautiful healthy baby boy. Everyday we are amazed at how much Dylan is growing to be such a wonderful son and big brother. We couldn't have asked for a better year.
