For over two years, Dylan was rocked to sleep and held for a while before we could put him down in his crib, and later, on his bed. There were nights when we stayed in his room for hours.
Logan, on the other hand, is much more independent. He gets a bottle or nursed, then onto the crib he goes. Within minutes, he is sound asleep.
As much as we love how easy Logan's bedtime routine is, we do miss cuddle time with him. Once it's time for bed, he just won't have any of it.
Oh, how different two kids can be! (until today, we still struggle with our high maintenance first born).

You're Invited!
In less than one month, Dylan is turning 3. Oh, where did the time go?!?!
Planning has started for the big day, invitations are out and we are in complete party mode.
We're kicking off with a party with Dylan's friends on July 17th, then a family day on the 26th (his actual birthday) and finally a BBQ for family and friends on the 30th. We can't wait to celebrate!

Father's Day 2010
Thanks Daddy for loving us always...even with the whining, tantrums, fussing and screaming. We hope to always make you proud.
For Father's Day, our day started with going to church followed by brunch with three of the special dads in our lives: daddy, lolo and ninong king. Then we went to Lolo's house for some sprinkler fun in the backyard. For dinner, we visited Grandma and Uncle Tommy where the kids had ice pops, cake and ice cream.

One of Daddy's gifts...
we can't wait to find the perfect place for it

How lucky are the boys to have such an amazing and wonderful dad.

Dutch Wonderland
Elements of Learning
With the end of Dylan's school, we decided to put the boys at Elements of Learning. It's a daycare/school we've been looking into for about a year now. It was our initial choice of school for Dylan, but because of Mommy's work schedule, St. Dunstan was a better fit for us.
Now that both boys needed to go to daycare/school, we checked out EOL again but unfortunately, we were told Logan is too young. However, because Mommy has a friend who brings her kids at EOL, the director made an exception and agreed to take Logan too. Such great news!
Dylan goes for 3hrs/day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; Logan on Wednesdays. As always, seeing tears make it hard for us to leave the boys, but minutes later they forget about us. Dylan has several friends that go to EOL which makes it easier for him to adjust and enjoy his time at school. Logan - well, just as long as he has milk, food and somewhere to nap on, he's good!
So far, we've been pretty impressed with EOL, and the boys' teachers. We have a feeling they'll be there for a while.
