Hola Puerto Vallarta

The past few months have been hectic for the boys as they started going to school/daycare for full days. We’d get them up at 6:30 in the morning and spend 8+ hours in school. They have been troopers! A week vacation in Puerto Vallarta, MX was just what we needed.

After a week, it seems like the boys grew 10-fold. Dylan became so much more comfortable in the water. He’s turned into our little dare-devil swimmer. He’s decided he wants to live at the resort, aka Grandpa’s house. Logan’s personality just continues to blossom. He was our vacation-clown, always entertaining us with his cute facial expressions and wittiness. All of a sudden he’s talking more and telling us exactly what he wants.

It was a memory-filled vacation. Highlights from our vacation:

-Dylan going down the alligator slide with Uncle Tommy, Grandma, Daddy and Mommy

-Dylan swimming under water

-Dylan’s “I’ll take a red strawberry smoothie”

-Logan’s use of “NO” and “YESH”; and “MINE”

-Logan’s love for the water

-Hyperactive 18 month old on the plane – apology to our co-passengers for our very loud child

-Coming to the realization that Logan will be our problem child

-Kids running after every bird they see

-Mommy and Daddy jet skiing

-Logan doing everything and anything his older brother does

-Logan dancing to and cheering on the singers/performers

-Logan sleeping in the bed with everyone

-Chips and guacamole

-Night swimming

-Mexican and Western nights

-Referring to the resort as “Grandpa’s House”

-Mechanical bull riding

-Boy’s excitement riding the taxi/shuttle without carseats

-Watching the parrot and sea lion shows

-Our beach family photo shoot
