Party at Frog Falls

For the third time in a row, Dylan celebrated his birthday with his friends and family at Frog Falls Water Park.  The place never disappoints and everyone always has a great time.  This year, Dylan picked a race car themed party, as evident in these pictures.

Dylan woke up early (as he does everyday), walked into Mommy and Daddy’s room, and announced that it’s his birthday party day.  “Get up, let’s go downstairs, today is my party, we’re gonna be late!”  He was beyond excited and was looking forward to having his friends join him for the day (it’s the first time we invited his school friends).  Grandpa even came to his party!

We were worried about the weather - the day before, it was raining, windy and cold.   But on the day of his party, the sun came out and the rain stopped.  It was still a tiny bit on the colder side, but we'll take it!  We certainly got lucky.  No matter how cold the water was (it warmed up a bit towards the afternoon), the kids still jumped in and had fun.

The invitations were ordered from Etsy and printed at Kinkos.  Banner from the PI

Mama, look at me!

His personality is just as big as a house.  Can you guess what Logan is doing?

Showing everyone how Mommy goes to the potty.  Lovely, isn't he?

Welcome Back, Ate Cece!

The kids made a banner but we're really sure what it was for.  When they saw Ate Cece driving up with Uncle Tommy and Grandma, there were lots of jumping up and down, hugs, and smiles!

We are all so happy to have Ate Cece back home!

Baby Jaden!

Baby Jaden turns ONE.
The boys were excited to celebrate Jaden's first birthday.  They enjoyed playing with all the kids at the party, testing out Jaden's new ride (a Benz, of course!), and getting an awesome goodie bag.

Happy Birthday, Baby Jaden!  We love you!

Class of 2012 - Kindergarten!

Whenever we asked Dylan about his graduation, he never wanted to talk about it.  “It has to be a surprise!”  And it sure was.  They recited the pledge of allegiance, sang songs for the Mommies and Daddies, paraded in costumes from around the world, shared the work they’ve been doing at school and even danced for the crowd.

Dylan was so happy to have everyone join him at Graduation – Lolo, Lola, Grandma, Uncle Tommy, Ninong Jeff, Tita Juli, Jaden, Ninong King and Ate Cece were all there!  As an added bonus, he even got presents!!!

Father's Day - at Central Park

It was a perfect cool summer day. We packed up for a day in the city to celebrate Father's Day.  As we do every year when we go to Central Park, first we hit up Shake Shack for some juicy burgers and delicious shakes.  It was packed as always but definitely worth the wait.

The boys loved the Central Park.  In summary, per Dylan:  this is the biggest park I've ever been to!  They enjoyed the HUGE sand box (no surprise there), the crazy bumpy slides, and street performers.  But the one thing they were looking forward to the whole was riding the subway.  They even insisted on just standing up and holding on during the ride.

Food!  burgers, fries and shakes all around.  Here's Dylan - he's the eating monster!

Yes, Mommy likes to dress them alike and in bright colors, esp when we are going out to a place with lots of people.  It makes it easier to remember what they are wearing and to spot them from a distance.

holding onto Superman - his current toy obsession
Daddy's favorite part - playing ball in the park
just the boys - this is the biggest sand box they kids have ever seen and they spent about two hours here!
they couldn't get over it - riding the subway new york city style!
we stayed for a few minutes, just watching the trains go by
for dinner - one of Daddy's favorite places - BBQs!

The next day, we went to Lolo's house for a BBQ  -  Happy Father's Day!!!!
