Welcome to Cape May trolley tour

Logan turned 8 months in gorgeous Cape May.

For four days straight, Dylan begged us to ride the trolley. Of course, it doesn't help when the trolley stops right in front of our hotel. We promised Dylan that if he's good, we would ride the trolley. On our last day, he got a little reward.

he is loving it!
best part about the tour: both boys went down for their napbeautiful light house... to bad the boys missed it. Maybe next year.

Happy Birthday Lola Mia!

We were sorry to missed the party, but glad we were able to stop by before heading to Cape May.

SanB/Valdez Clan goes to Wildwood

For the 4th of July weekend, we joined the Valdez clan for a long weekend trip down the shore at Wildwood Crest. The kids spent long early days at the beach followed by a late afternoon swim in the pool while the oldies BBQed, cooked and chatted. It was a memory-filled weekend with cousins, aunts, uncles, lolos and lolas. Looking forward to next time!

7 years later

Happy Anniversary to Mommy and Daddy!

Instead of their planned dinner at NYC, they opted to stay home, order in and have dinner in bed while the kids were sleeping.

It was a perfect way to celebrate, especially after an exhausting long weekend at the beach.

Table Manners

"whatcha looking at?"
Clearly, someone needs to teach this kid some table manners. ;-)

Rock-A-Bye Baby No More

For over two years, Dylan was rocked to sleep and held for a while before we could put him down in his crib, and later, on his bed. There were nights when we stayed in his room for hours.

Logan, on the other hand, is much more independent. He gets a bottle or nursed, then onto the crib he goes. Within minutes, he is sound asleep.

As much as we love how easy Logan's bedtime routine is, we do miss cuddle time with him. Once it's time for bed, he just won't have any of it.

Oh, how different two kids can be! (until today, we still struggle with our high maintenance first born).

You're Invited!

In less than one month, Dylan is turning 3. Oh, where did the time go?!?!

Planning has started for the big day, invitations are out and we are in complete party mode.

We're kicking off with a party with Dylan's friends on July 17th, then a family day on the 26th (his actual birthday) and finally a BBQ for family and friends on the 30th. We can't wait to celebrate!
