A day at NJ Children's Museum

A long over due visit to the Children's Museum - one of Dylan's favorite places.


Since Logan is a lot more active, aware, and attentive, we knew it was time to introduce Logan to this magical place for all little kids. His charming and sweet personality was so evident that we couldn't help but see the joy in his eyes.


Dylan couldn't contain himself when he realized where we were... he couldn't decide if he wanted to play with the sand, trucks, or trains.

Weekend at the pool

One of our new favorite "family staycations" is checking into a local hotel and spending a couple of days at the pool. Dylan calls it the pool with the "white bed" and constantly asks when we are going back. Since the weather hasn't been cooperating all winter long, it's so refreshing to hibernate for a couple of days, swim in the pool, and have burgers and sandwiches poolside.

Dylan is gaining more confidence with swimming independently. He certainly loves the pool noodle and a couple of times he even let go of it and threaded water for a few seconds. Logan has no fear of the water and loves to just float on his own.

Parent-Teacher Conference

Nothing makes us more proud than when others compliment our boys.

At today's parent-teacher conference, Mrs. Parul (the boys' teacher) commented on how much Dylan's writing, creative and social skills have improved. He went from a 2.5yo who hardly held a pencil properly to a 3.5yo who loves to draw trucks, cars, and people. He participates in class, does what he's told, always respects his teachers, plays nice with his classmates, and takes very long naps. =)

She also emphasized how well behaved both the boys are - as she said "they are so easy and we never have to disciple them, especially Logan".

Snow Snow and more Snow

This winter has been particularly brutal with freezing weather, several snow days and what seemed like endless amount of snow. Although our area wasn't hit too badly, we did get enough snow that could last until mid-to-late April.

Whenever it snowed, Dylan would wait for Daddy to get home so he can help clear the snow, no matter how cold it was. He has even gotten up early in when he hears Daddy's snowblower, beg to get bundled up, and go outside to be Daddy's little helper. It always made his day! Here he is using his mower as a "snow mow mow".

When it was warm enough , Logan was finally able to go outside to enjoy the snow. Just check out these pictures to see just how much fun he had!
