Baby Cailyn

New addition to the family

Welcome Baby Cailyn Theresa Spurlin!

She's just so perfect!!!

Great-Grandma

It's been a while (well, over one year) since Dylan saw his Great-Grandma. But this weekend, we had a chance to spend some time with her.

Ort Farms

It's almost the end of October and we just had the time this weekend to go pumpkin picking. We took Dylan to this same place last year, but of course, he appreciated it more now. He loved the animals, trains and trucks.

saw the truck he wanted to ride
so excited to get on the tractor
a happy boy
in a carriageour almost 3-footer
he got in the same window last year
climbing the hay mountain
being silly during the hay ride

Eviction notice for Baby S

Baby San Buenaventura:

Please note that November 8th is your "expected due date" which you have been orally reminded for several months now and referenced in the lease that you agreed to approximately nine months ago. Thus this is the date by which you are supposed to vacate your current premises.

Please note that in order for you to be NOT in violation of your lease which you entered in good faith, you must voluntarily remove yourself from the premises within the next 14 days. However, the sooner, the better. If not, I will have no choice but to commence formal eviction proceedings, and I have already put the proper authorities on notice.

As you have been repeatedly advised, your new accommodations are in fact ready and awaiting your arrival, so your cooperation in voluntarily moving out of the current premises, avoiding the time and inconvenience of more formal, compelled proceedings, would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
The Landlord
(AKA Mommy)

Trip to the farm - Sun High Orchard

Since Mommy didn't have work this morning, we went to the farm to feed the animals and pick a small pumpkin for a playdate on Friday.

as soon as he set eyes on the wagon, he hardly parted with it.
I told him to pick a pumpkin - "this one Mommy?"
"how 'bout this?"
"It's too heavy"

Sad when Mommy told him it was time to go

Naming baby brother

Dylan has chosen a name for his baby brother. He's had his little heart set on this name since we found out we were having a boy.

It isn't set in stone... since Mommy is still trying to convince him that Landon is a much better name. So far, he isn't budging.

train...train.. and more trains

Dylan loves any type of vehicles - trains, school bus, trucks, cars, etc.

We met up with some friends at the train museum and Dylan was very fascinated (although we think Daddy enjoyed it the most.) Since Dylan couldn't touch any of the trains (he was frustrated), we ended up buying him his own train to play with (as if he doesn't already have tons of trains at home).
